Entry Requirements In BSc (Hons)

Applicants must have obtained one of the following:
Applicants should be recommended by two responsible persons. They must also have attained one of the following

entry requirements:

• ABE Certificate.
• Two GCE ‘A’ levels together with four GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English language and Maths.
• BTEC National award in relevant subjects.
• Three passes in LCCI Third level in relevant subjects.
• Four passes in RSA examinations at least two of which must be at Stage 111.
• Pitmans Qualifications - Two passes at level 3 in relevant subjects.
• An ‘Access’ Certificate from a UK College of Further Education.
• Any NCVQ approved qualifications at level 3 in relevant subjects.

• Such overseas qualifications, which may be accepted by the Registrar as being equivalent to the above.
• In addition we welcome applications for student membership from candidates who, although not holding a formal entry qualification, have been in appropriate employment for at least two years. A reference letter from employers must accompany all such applications.

In addition, all students applying for this programme mush have obtained IELTS Level 6 or equivalent. Students with a low score in IELTS or another acceptable qualification may seek to attend a 4 weeks English Language Proficiency Programme at LCBMIT but must achieve IELTS 6 or equivalent to be eligible for a direct last year entry to Staffordshire University. Direct Entry into Final Year of the degree programme at Staffordshire University is subject to successful completion of Advanced Diploma in Business Management with LCBMIT and IELTS results at band 6 or equivalent. However, Staffordshire University may wish to interview the student if necessary.
